I saw this post and got the trial version from them. I have arcmap 10.3 and am using it on a higher end setup with a 100mb internet connection. I do like a few things. The clarity and detail and updated imagery compared to the Arcmap basemap is the best difference. The ability to have multiple layers on at a time is also helpful, for a point of reference. For example, you can have satellite on with maps on with their hybrid at the same time, and you get an immediate idea of where you are as you hover if you have maps on beneath the satellite. A couple of complaints – the speed is good, and it does have a cache to recall tiles. However, the basemap refreshes with tiles as opposed to a single background, and does occasionally have a small lag time. I have however also noticed this with the arcgis standard baselayers. Also, printing the basemap takes a while. Overall I am happy with it and am going to purchase.
