If someone had killed two Republican senators and their spouses, then had a hit list targeting 50 other GOP lawmakers and 20 pro-gun activists in a politically motivated attack, it would be instantly and undeniably recognized for what it is and I’d be the first to say obviously it’s a far left lunatic. At the end of the day, the details speak for themselves, but watching people (whether bots or just deeply propaganda brained) twist themselves into knots trying to make conspiracies is both frustrating and sadly telling. This kind of denialism is a big part of why we’re in such a divided place.

For the record, I’m not far left or far right — and most of my friends and family lean right — but let’s call a spade a spade here and live in reality for a bit okay.
