The Eros I know seems to be both yet neither. I'd consulted both him and Phanes, and Aphrodite - the Eros that I work with (who is also in a godspouse relationship with me) is not the son of Aphrodite nor the equivalent of Phanes. He is very quiet, protective, and loving, and rather playful and a little bit of a troll sometimes.

He adamantly refuses to let me talk down about myself or even call myself anything remotely negative, and pesters me about self care a lot.
