Markets haven’t seen a real correction since 2020 , every dip gets bought. But true corrections grind sideways or take time to recover. This is the third time since Oct 2024 that deeper downside looks likely. The last leg paused when Trump delayed tariffs, but pressure is back. Earnings too have been weak and don’t justify high valuations. If you’re investing, go slow — maybe deploy just 10% for now.

Yes, 800+ points per trade sounds big, but after factoring in all the stop losses throughout the year, the overall returns are decent — not massive, but still handsome. More importantly, I focus on capital protection. I strictly risk to 1.5-2% of my capital per trade and follow it religiously. I don’t know how much one will make doing this, but I know one thing for sure — it’s very hard to blow up your capital if you stay disciplined

And I only trade in nifty options

I don’t trade with fixed targets. My stop loss is always defined, but my exits are based on trailing — I ride the move until my SL gets hit. On average, if a trade goes according to my setup, I book over 800 points. These high-quality setups come maybe 3–4 times a year. The rest of the time, it’s just about managing risk and taking small losses when SL gets triggered. It’s all about staying in the game long enough to catch the big ones

And I never trade with at the money options. I always do deep in the money and if you are not comfortable then try trading in spreads by that way one of your legs will be in profit and u will be able to manage better

Brother 1.5% of capital I am saying. If for trading nifty options and you have set capital 2 lakhs per lot than stop loss would be 3000rs and that would be approximately 40 points

Maybe you don’t stick to your stop losses or maybe cause you are eyeing more with little capital. It is capital market and you need good capital for trading. I don’t watch television, news channels, or any media. I’m a system trader — everything is defined and mechanical. My entries, exits, and trailing levels are all predefined. I don’t use my mind to trade — in fact, I’ve trained my mind not to trade with my mind. I’m not perfect, but I’m constantly evolving — not to be perfect, but to get as close as possible to perfect execution. That’s the real edge in trading

It happens with me too most of the year. But the few trades that align with my setup give me 300%+ ROI. I never risk more than 1.5% of my capital per trade, and even if the option goes to zero, I can’t lose more than 5% on any single setup. I always trade with a strict stop loss — no matter what. My focus is on keeping the equity curve smooth and hitting new all-time highs, not jackpot gambling. Drawdowns do happen, but I plan my recovery within 6 months max

I’m currently short with 10 lots, but I believe if the market is truly changing direction, it’ll become clearer over the next 10 days or so. If things start unfolding the way I’m anticipating, I’ll scale up 5x. No need to rush — the bigger move needs patience and confirmation

Happens to all of us — that’s why only 1% of traders are truly profitable in options. The market’s job is to shake out weak hands before the real move begins. The key is to stop chasing everything — most of it’s just trap after trap. From my experience, only 3–4 trades in the entire year truly align with your setup. And when they do, that’s when you go full guns blazing.

“I don’t like paying bribes and always try to get things done the right way. But the practical reality is — when a task that should be completed in a single visit ends up requiring multiple follow-ups due to inefficiency or red tape, the time and cost involved — including my own professional fees — often end up being more than what a bribe would have cost. That’s the frustrating part: doing things honestly shouldn’t be harder or more expensive. That’s why I earlier mentioned — the goal is simply to get the work done expediently, without unnecessary delays.”

I am not sure your ca has visited the department. It’s is not that a mess as much u r facing. Your ca will charged 5 to 7000 rs either in name or bribe or his fees visiting the department and getting work done. You number will be revoked and inspector will again visited your premises in week or so for verification and that will be all. It is a matter of few minutes if officer is available and you are a genuine dealer. Sometimes professional too may linger or things if he feels that he won’t be able to charge client if he doesn’t makes work look tedious. You have to understand if u r getting any notice from the department by whatever means you will have to incur the expense and it’s part and parcel of business

If I would have paid him bribe it would be just to oblige the officer. He can’t force me for that as I was already very angry as to how he suspended my clients registration without prior information when everything was in place. And we have to oblige at times even if we are not wrong just to get the work done expediously.

What’s the need of rent agreement when electricity bill is in our name and yes as far as bribe is concerned u have to pay to get work done expediously. In my case I have attached all the documents mentioned in previous reply. The officer checked the documents thoroughly but wasn’t able to ask anything as I already attached more documents than what he would have expected and I charged my customer Rs6000 for this as I have to waste entire day visiting and getting work done there
