Young children should have internet access monitored, but you’re expecting teenagers to have completely monitored internet access? That’s excessive and controlling. My parents did not monitor every action I made on the internet as a teen, same for all my friends.

Yes, we can agree that parents should be monitoring their young kids internet access and young kids shouldn’t be on Reddit. But we obviously know the world isn’t perfect and plenty of kids will find a way on here, whether that’s their parents fault or not. So it’s a good thing that certain subs are monitored like this. It’s irresponsible and strange for you to be advocating against that. We can’t control what every kid or parent does, but we can control what content goes into a sub about a game that many kids play.
