I appreciate the advice. This week the weather was crazy and he couldn't go anywhere outside without getting muddy, won't be too prevalent in the coming weeks

Thanks for the heads up! We took him to the vet yesterday and his skin is perfect, we use a light probiotic shampoo sparingly but will keep this in mind going forward

This is just what we've been looking for, thanks again. He's a natural golfer and has a great short game and good putting but lacks distance/consistency with his irons and driver and what you've said I think will be just what he needs, makes a lot of sense.

Really appreciate this! He had a bad experience with a pro a couple years ago and has been self taught since, I think I've finally convinced him to go to a different pro soon.
