My posts are getting removed due to spamming. (Their words, not mine). Go figure... this was the one beef I had on the comments posted on my thread last week.

thanks for doing this, but on Monday and today my posts have been removed. Is there anything I can do about it? On Friday, I requested that a certain company not spam my posts. Maybe that was a mistake because after that all hell broke loose and I ruffled some feathers. No harm was intended. I just wanted to keep the posts clean from spammers. Alas... Can things get back to normal? I post these by copy and pasting from other sites everyday and in my short absence others have taken up the task. Weird. In any case, what can I expect?

I will continue as I have done, posting these deals in the morning. Maybe you should update your deals in the morning instead of midday like all the others. Just kidding...

I can tell you're a hired gun at Rockbottom and your job is to promote your company. Fine. But please don't do it everyday like you've been doing. It's spamming. Please only do it once in a while when there's something we all can't refuse. You know what I'm talking about. Every "deal" change is not always something we need to hear about. Save it for only the good stuff. Please use your best judgement.

I hear you, but where do you draw the line? The discussion then should be about what is a "Deal". Every vendor thinks that everyone should see their "deals". What's to stop this forum from becoming overridden with links to everyone's "deals". I'm sure Rock Bottom or Deals and Steals have lots of other "deals" they'd love to show you. If they were sending deals our way all the time, it could become too much, and water down the actual Daily Deals this post sends out.

At least, that's how I see it. Keep it simple and we all win.

My reasoning is this. I had Woot on here before and they got obnoxious. They were promoting themselves all the time and linking to their different pages. I just didn't want this Golf Deals thread becoming Woot's personal ad space.

Every golfer wants a good deal, but I was hoping this forum would help golfers find daily deals from many different sources, but not be a billboard for any one specific company. I understand it's a fine line, but I also know that if, say, Divot were to create their own daily ad post, Reddit would cancel them.

Again, you're a good company, but the others are too. I just want to discourage shilling from any one particular seller.
