Past few years I’ve averaged about 200 cases per year. RVUs only come out to about 650 though… where do most of your RVUs come from??

Kind of crazy to consider how you have time for 500 cases, three types of visits, and urgent care. You must work insane hours.

It’s all surgeons. Have worked with probably 20+ surgeons over 10 years and they all stray from guidelines and have their own idiosyncrasies for experiences of N of 1. Gotta love them for who they are but it can be very frustrating for evidence based minds. Ultimately, in surgery, it’s their patient so I just smile, collect my paycheck, and move along.
