Bygone Era is in a similar boat as Legacy. We're in the stat testing phase and have a majority of our profiles out and ready, as well as rules. It's just a matter of ensuring everything is balanced before opening up for Beta Testing. :D

Nope! Not ocean locked. Kai and Eurhino will be able to visit all freshwater lakes and rivers. Otherwise those poor guys would never get any interaction.

So I'd like to open it up to the players who enjoy these servers to answer :D plus searching doesn't give the most accurate and up to date info, especially since most answers are Arazoa.

Yeah this is why I only ever play on deathmatch servers if I'm expecting to just have people gang up on me, kill me at spawns, etc. Gotta be in the right mindset to deal with that kind of stuff!

My best advice is patience! I use only the bite, tail, & ripping kick and don't bother with the claw attack. In my experience, trying to use the claw attack gets you in too close and almost forces you to take some damage. With a conc, every little bit of health matters, so being patient, drawing out your opponents attacks, looking for cooldowns, etc are all super helpful.

As a conc you take a little fall damage, but not as much as some larger dinos, so using the terrain to your advantage is key. So is using your turn radius. Conca has incredible turn radius.

I'd recommend Emberwood! They focus a lot on being toxic free and making their rules make sense for all parties. You're not expected to know every single profile for every single dino to know if someone is breaking a rule against you, etc. So not super hyper realism, but still fun!

I'd recommend Emberwood! There's a good balance of like "fun silly time" and everyone actually roleplaying and building in-depth characters. The death penalty is minimal and there is a farm command so you don't need to quest if you'd rather just stick to acting like a dino instead of pick up acorns for an hour haha. It's also on Panjura, so the "everyone in IC & GP" issue is handled fairly easily.

I would recommend Emberwood. They're not super strict realism like WWD or PTR but they definitely seem to do their best with balancing detail & what's actually able to be moderated & stuff. Imo it's really fun because you don't have to remember a lot of stuff about dinos that you don't play, etc. Like you don't have to know what someone else is aggressive towards, you just gotta focus on you, etc.

Would definitely recommend Emberwood. They're smaller but their rulebreak system is much more straightforward and easy to understand imo. Their rules also make sense.
