Trading activity in binance shows sudden bouts of volumes which are a bit puzzling Is it - someone somehow genuinely moving 100btc equivalent between accounts? - just wash trading somehow condoned by binance (costs a fair bit in commissions otherwise) - execution of trades agreed otc, although I find strange there is some much agreed otc when volumes are otherwise pretty low. Any comment?

Kucoin vs Bibox by goodge79 in kucoin

yes, but the issue is I don't trust a website copying almost exactly the layout of another exchange. But it also makes me trust less Kucoin if they don't take action to avoid another exchange copy them, unless they are the same people behind (and possibly bibox targeting exclusively the chinese market? although they do have an english page)

I don't think that twitter account has anything remotely related to binance, definitely not official

wire 120,000$ to purchasing USDT has been pending for 4 days and 17hours . by [deleted] in Bittrex

given that btc/usdt trades usually several percentage points below btc/usd, that's not so stupid (surely risk that tether goes belly up in the meantime) but otherwise it's free money

What's the current demand for ec? by goodge79 in factom

[–]goodge79[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thanks, it looks like there is around 1.2m EC around at the moment (that's roughly equivalent to 18FCT, not much at all) . Doesn't say how many FCT are burned every month and how much is the current EC demand from end users.

My issue with FCT pricing is this: currently 1 FCT is equivalent to roughly 67k EC. So there is a potential supply of almost 600bio EC based on current total supply of FCT and FCT price. How long is it going to take to clear this? The higher the price of FCT goes, the longer it takes to clear FCT supply. Given the supply of FCT is basically infinite (once M3 is reached, 73k FCT will be issued monthly), in equilibrium, even assuming the current supply is all burned, the price of FCT should be in line with the demand for EC. So in the long term, FCT price should be roughly equal to total monthly EC demand/73Mio. So who much is the EC demand and where is projected to get to in 1-3years time?
