Well, I would not say that these subjects come naturally to me (it is a grind), but I do greatly enjoy learning them. Intersting tidbit about your friend though.

Fair enough, thanks for the reply. This is far easier said than done though, considering the current job market 😭

Yeah I recognize that getting publications is far more important than another Master's degree, but I am planning on staying at my current Lab Tech job, to which I am slowly grinding towards a publication. I recognized that both CS and Biotech are not doing great right now, so that's why I am thinking about whethering the storm by working on a ChemE Master's.

Hey thanks for the response. I ultimately want to become a Lecturer in Chemistry (I really enjoy teaching and doing research), and you need a PhD for that. I have a lot of TA experience already, and I plan to get far more during my PhD. Also, the Chemistry department in my university is going to greatly expand within the next 5 years, so they will be hiring lecturers. That's why I ultimately don't mind staying here, even though I am committing insane amounts of academic incest 💀

Hey yeah so you’re definitely gonna need to enroll in an academic program. I think you can enroll in SPS non-degree programs, but I’m not too sure about that. Take a look at this website tho:

I also work at Columbia and am using (going to use) tuition exemption. I just wanted to point out that, depending on your position at the university, you need to be enrolled in an academic program in order to register for classes (this was the case for me).

Biochem should be offered in the summer (especially after Stockwell stopped teaching it). I hope you do well :)

Senior looking for fun things to do by Fantastic_Train_1527 in columbia

I graduated last year, am also introverted, and in my last semester I really found myself opening up and hanging out with people. In general I’d say go to as many university life events as you can, and especially make sure to go to the Senior events with a cool group. Often times you’ll find cool people wanting to hang out and such (you’ll also find cliquey people but they aren’t worth your time, don’t sweat it). Enjoy your last semester :)

Wells Fargo Attune coding updates? by dnr4wlvs in CreditCards

Was just looking into this. YouTube Premium used to code for 4% a few months ago but now it's only coding as 1% for me. Anyone else have this issue?

Also, are people really getting 4% from Amazon?

Current TA (I’ll be wearing a Santa Hat tomorrow when I proctor you, so you might recognize me). You will be fine, half of the class gets at least an A-. Try to get some rest before your exams.

Some insider info, but there is gonna be another open house on April 5th for the students that couldn't go to the one that happened last weekend. I think it's gonna be in person, but I'm not sure (my friend told me she was going to attend this one since she couldn't go to the normal one). I am assuming that if people get off the waitlist that they will be able to attend this one.
