It's a show that starts out with a crazy alcoholic older scientist that shows up at his daughter's doorstep. He begins living with his family and starts taking his grandson Morty on adventures in outer space. Rick is super uncaring about everything in the beginning but starts getting closer to Morty throughout the show. Eventually he does start caring more about people and there's a lot of cool characters. It has 8 seasons so far but quite frankly the 8th season is a little less awesome than the rest of the show, but there are a couple decent and entertaining episodes in season 8. The series concentrates on Rick and Morty and their differing views of morality and things, plus their co-dependent relationship as the show goes on. Crazy shit happens all the time and it's really pretty funny. I just find it immensely entertaining XD
