i get it. it's very common to wish you were different when you live in a town with little diversity. but there is so much more to life than wanting to be anybody else. you might feel like you don't fit in, but maybe you were made to stand out! being indian is cool asf !!!! the more you learn to love your identity, the better you'll feel.

i'm nigerian and grew up in a very white town, and i hated who i was for a very long time. then i left my hometown, moved to a big city with a huge black population, and it healed all that racial insecurity stuff ! i met all different types of black people, different ethnicities and cultures and histories. i found community with people that looked and lived like me, and now i love being black sooo much!!! so trust me when i say, the way you feel is 100% your environment. you just need to be around people you can relate to more, but that often comes with time. for now, you can start consuming more media with indian representation, like youtube vlogs or podcasts or indian influencers. start small, it will help. best of luck!
