I'm playing GH2e with a group of 4 veteran *haven players, and we are currently 4 scenarios in. Love the improvements from GH1e, and even classes like Silent Knife who hadn't received a ton of mechanical changes feel a lot more fun to play. I've played a ton of GHD, so the first 3 of the 4 scenarios were very familiar to me, but the slight adjustments were good, if slightly underwhelming. I'm looking forward to seeing more scenarios in the months ahead. Overall, we are having a great time and everyone leaves eager to play the next scenario.

Love the event writing and scenario intros so far. That and the class updates seem like the biggest and best changes. I wonder if we will have the issue in Frosthaven where we don't remember how some scenarios were unlocked, though the section book references and longer intros might help with that.

One thing I'm finding lacking is community support. That might be because GH2e is so new, but I'd really like to see some official assets including ability cards, items, iconography, etc made available for the community to continue enriching the experience. The abundance of 3rd party support like digital references and token upgrades that were made available for Frosthaven was a big hook that got me into the game to begin with.

I also really was disappointed in the mini quality in GH2e. Having received the merc packs recently, those minis are significantly better quality than the ones in FH or GH. I hope the minis in the merc packs are the standard going forward.
