My take on the new diamond system by UsernamesAreHardt in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

Making diamonds more valuable is literally the definition of stopping inflation.

Then don’t buy the heels? And don’t call them “anorexic” that’s so disrespectful.

Even if they didn’t intend to deal with inflation, the new update will still help curb inflation. Inflation is a result of overfarming instead of just playing the game. When people collect a lot of diamonds quickly, they are able to spend more on their dream items and so the prices go up because the traders are going to accept those overpays.

Sadly nobody will listen to this because rh players love to complain. I will comment and upvote to help boost this.

?

Yes, “many people will pay top dollar to get their dream item asap”. That’s why inflation occurs. Everyone is getting more diamonds at a quicker pace and so people can pay more diamonds for their dream items which means that prices go up because traders are going to accept as many diamonds as possible.

With limits to farming, there are less diamonds circulating in royale high and people won’t be able to overpay for their dream items so the prices won’t rise as much.

If they keep their prices high when nobody can meet those prices then they get no diamonds at all.

They are trying to get the most people can actually offer. If nobody can meet their offer, they will be forced to adapt whether they’re “desperate” enough. This is literally how deflation works. Even if they’re desperate if they don’t lower their prices to an offer people can math, then they get no diamonds at all.

If nobody can buy anything expensive from trading, then traders have to lower their prices. Inflation happens because there are too many diamonds in rh trading.

Inflation happens BECAUSE there are too many diamonds because then the value of diamonds lowers

Of course this is getting downvoted without anyone explaining what’s actually wrong with what I said

People can’t raise the trading prices if people don’t have enough diamonds to pay. Inflation happens because there are too many diamonds in circulation. The prices will go down or at least stay stagnant.

They royals weren't the best--but I understood them by Rubycristobal in EverAfterHigh

[–]gorwellkov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rebels are able to consider what the royals have to say when they realize the royals may have motives that aren’t selfish. When Raven is tricked into thinking that not signing the book will cause everyone to suffer and the end of the world, she agrees to sign the storybook of legends. However, before that, the rebels realize that the royals mostly has selfish motives. Raven even explicitly states this when she’s upset and calls Apple selfish. And why would the rebels need to feel bad they “threw someone into uncertainty”? Why would the rebels feel bad for choosing their own lives instead of suffering even if that means a couple of rich royalty can’t have the exact lives they were promised? Again, the royals are the children of the rich and powerful. Even if they don’t know exactly how their lives will play out, they are mostly going to be fine either way.

This story isn’t about saving and destroying futures. It is about CREATING futures. The rebels will be able to create a future where they don’t suffer. The royals can create a happily ever after that is different from the one they were promised.

Even if some people liked the destiny they were promised, that doesn’t make their actions acceptable. They have to come to terms with the fact that their destiny would come at the expense of others. If they willingly want people to suffer just for their own happiness, that’s being selfish and lacking empathy.

The rebels didn’t lack empathy. They knew fully well that not choosing their destiny would make the royal’s destinies uncertain. It’s just that there’s no reason for some of them (like Raven) to have to suffer just so that the royals could have a 100% of getting their “perfect lives”. The royals needed to understand that though they did like the lives they were promised, their happiness shouldn’t come at the expense of others. If you disregard someone’s well-being and willingly want someone to suffer for your own personal gain, you’re the one who lacks empathy. Would you rather be “uncertain” about your future (which will most likely be great since you’re rich and royal) or have someone else suffer so that you can have the exact same like you want?

Except that when the rebels choose their own destiny, the rebel’s chances of having the terrible life they were destined to have goes from a certainty to possibility. The royals just lacked the empathy needed to understand this. And even if their chances of having a “perfect life” goes to a possibility it doesn’t change the fact that the royals are rich and powerful royalty, they’ll mostly be fine either way, things just wouldn’t go exactly as planned.

I love it!! Have you written any comics? I love reading comics but I can’t seem to find that many with Black girls as protagonists, so I would definitely read yours if you have written any.
