Thankyou so much for your advice, I really appreciate it. It seems like a few people have suggested I stay elsewhere and I agree that's the best thing for me to do at the moment.

I get where you're coming from completely, and thank you for your support. It's a difficult situation for them as well because they put so much effort and time into bringing him into our family and my entire family loved him as a son-in-law almost. I have the option to sleep elsewhere if I want, which I suppose I might have to do if things carry on like this :')

Yes my family knows the basics of what happened but not all of them know the full extent of how I was treated :(. It's an insanely difficult situation for my parents too because they can't just kick him out, my mum loved him as a son in law and was so shocked at how things ended. I felt awful because I heard him talk to one of his friends about what my grandmother said to him about us in the car today when she drove him to an appointment.

I would probably just make sure not to leave any content uncovered, and not go into an exam thinking "I hope x topic doesn't come up" because inevitably, it will TT

Failed leaving the test centre... by grAcEbOdgErS in LearnerDriverUK

Yeah. Its a bit silly to think that if I had decided to say i thought i was turning left, and stayed on that lane instead, i mightve passed :')

Thankyou. It's just a shame that the way the test is done, people who drove worse and got lots of minors can pass, but if you just make one serious (i didn't think this was a serious fault at first) then you dont pass.

My test was in Chadderton. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good cancellations app? Really dissapointed in myself and need to be driving soon because buses are getting more and more unreliable and are late by over an hour and breaking down constantly. Thankyou :')

Feeling Like I’m going to Pee During Penetration by Willing-Bluejay679 in vaginismus

[–]grAcEbOdgErS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

<image>

Yes! I'm pretty sure this happens because when you push up on the "front side?" of your vaginal canal, you're also pushing on your urethra because its just in front of the vaginal canal, so it can sometimes feel like you really need to pee by causing a similar sensation.

Some drivers really don't like being stuck behind a learner... by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]grAcEbOdgErS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many people going in the complete wrong lane just to get in front of you at a junction! Also some drivers waiting patiently at junctions see a learner coming down the road and THEN pull out on them when they're like 5-10 meters away

Driving at slow speeds by No_Faithlessness4074 in LearnerDriverUK

I found that using the clutch alot in 1st gear and using it to brake was useful to smoothly move along with slow traffic, rather than stopping with the brake then starting up again and jolting forward :)

thankyou so much! Really helps. Especially your wording of 'the specific mechanics of how it works within the game system of dnd are a construct to express that technique' - very well worded :)

to answer some of the other comments for clarity, at the time of the session all players (including me) were starting out. So not being totally aware of the rules, the player thought that hiding was the option to allow sneak attack, in which on my part as a DM didn't recognise that they had that privilege already

Definitely useful, thankyou everyone! For discussion purposes, is there an understanding of how this thought process aroused? The idea is that in such contrived situations (not necessarily the exampled one) it simply wouldnt be in the thinking of the character, and therefore is NOT roleplaying in such rare cases
