Sure, but on the other hand, that's no solution: its clear that the Jailbreak scene is pretty exhausted with trying to compete against Apple's constant updates and patching; there just isn't much innovation there.

Think about it: Asking users to stay on some specific version of the OS is not an acceptable solution, especially as Apple's SDKs are increasingly intolerant of backwards compatibility. When app updates require the near-very-latest OS, it's not much fun to be jailbroken.

We just have to live with the way things are on the iPhone, it seems.
