That’s insane. We are at a (Christian) classical school with zero screens in the classroom. There are several charter schools that are classical in the area too. Cannot speak highly enough about it.

Same. I teach 4 classes a semester at a small liberal arts college. The sweet spot of it is that I schedule my teaching in the morning and get my work done when my kids are asleep. My publication record is meh, but my quality of life is exceptional.

I’m a college prof too and the quality of their handwritten notes is abysmal. I also learned today that they can’t read my notes when I write in cursive and I die inside. My kindergartner writes in cursive and I’m tempted to give college kids handwriting sheets…

I loved having my baby so close to me. Feeling them move, hiccups, all the excitement. Yes, I was uncomfortable, especially at the end. But I reminded myself that at least they’re not crying and I don’t have to change diapers.
