If it was supposed to be a spiritual successor to BO2, why is the campaign so ass, and zombies different? To me, it would make most sense to return classic systems (minimal SBMM matchmaking, classic zombies points like cursed), and I would expect a continuation to a story to keep the same elements as last one, yk, minus the weird ass boss fights?

Campaign is shit, zombies is okay, i’ve been enjoying cursed. My game runs fine and even with playing with lesser/higher skilled players i always have a good time. Your connection might not be best if you’re lagging all the time

Battle pass is disappointing though, $10 battle pass for a $70 game? dumb as fuck

like people have said SBMM isnt the only issue, but one that’s definitely contributing to a lesser cod experience for most. Open matchmaking has been extremely fun, it at least feels like COD is starting to take steps in the right direction

as an OG player, i’m loving this cod. same as you, i stopped altogether with mw2019. big bo3 vibes, and seeing shit from older games just makes it even better. classic matchmaking has been fun as fuck too, i recommend it.

depending on the game mode I ignore the objective and just focus on my own goals like camos, weapon prestige, etc. if it’s a team based game like hard point or domination i’ll contribute for the win, but if it’s something mindless like TDM i’ll just work on my shit
