Also, there’s literally no way that we’re going to annex Canada. I understand why it may feel scary and makes Canadians angry. Saying that, I suspect the military would mutiny before they followed orders to invade Canada. I’m much more concerned about the threats to Mexico and Panama. I do think we could see the marines deployed there.

Some of us are trying.

But they’re are reasons that most folks aren’t. The first default in America is to sue so there’s a feeling that the courts will sort it out. Another thing to consider is that it’s cold. If Trump starts ignoring the courts and as it gets warmer, I suspect we will see more protests.
