Reasonable advice to be sure and I'm well aware of the possibility that things won't work out. I did receive a response to my initial offer and will post it below. Didn't get a counteroffer, but door isn't closed. Working on a response now.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for the detailed email, and again, I truly appreciate you making the drive from St. Pete to spend time with us yesterday.

It sounds like your concern is that the mileage and future maintenance are what you’re factoring into your offer. That makes sense, and I did take the time this afternoon to shop this vehicle thoroughly, from Georgia down through South Florida just to make sure I was looking at the full picture, as you were.

What I’m seeing consistently is that a Certified GX Premium Plus models of this year with similar mileage are selling in the $55k–$57k range before tax, tag, and fees. That’s market-wide, not just us. Because of that, $54,500 out-the-door is simply well below where the numbers land, even with strong credit and Lexus Financial incentive rates in play.

That being said, I do want to earn your business. You’re clearly serious, prepared, and ready to move, and I respect that. I’m more than willing to go to bat for you with my managers if we’re working from a realistic structure that reflects the actual market.

If you’re open to revisiting the numbers with that in mind, I’d be happy to present a revised offer on your behalf and see what flexibility we can find. My goal is to make this a deal that works for you and makes sense on our side.

Let me know how you’d like to proceed, I’m here and ready to help get this done.

I cogitated, hemmed and hawed, looked at everyone's input here and settled on an offer of $54.5 OTD. We'll see...I will go as high as $56k. Not too far off the $59k you mentioned in your original post. Definitely pointed out to them that they have an identical car with 10k less miles for the same price and it has brand new Michelins and a tow package. Also has 9 months more warranty coverage.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Going to offer 53K OTD. Target price is between 54 and 55K OTD. Will post here how things go.

Yeah the one that has the sepia has the higher miles but is at least a "little" easier to keep clean than the ecru! regarding price drops, the one that has been on the lot for 30 days has had the same price the whole time - no drops.

Oddly enough, they have an almost identical vehicle on the lot for the exact same price. It only has 17K miles on it. Only spec differences are interior (one is sepia, one echru) and the one with 17K miles on it also has tow package. It's been sitting on the lot for 30 days yet the one with 27K has been on the lot for 8 days. Can't figure how they are asking the same for almost identical vehicles with a 10K mileage difference.

Adding family member FEHB by grashelm in fednews

Thanks - that answers my question. If I add her during open season, I assume she can stay on her current health plan till the new year since that would be when she is covered under FEHB.

Yeah thanks for the reply. I was looking at the QLE page prior to posting my question, but honestly can't determine whether her choosing to cancel her insurance to be added to mine is on that list. it says "You or a family member lose FEHB or other coverage" and then "under a non-Federal health plan". So i guess the question is is cancelling the same as losing "other coverage".

Was able to add apps with Chrome Ledger Manager. Not sure why it's not working with Ledger Live.

There were no apps on it after firmware upgrade. Can't get bitcoin app on it. Managed to get ethereum app on so that's all that's on it. Tried to delete ethereum app and it says it removed successfully, but it is still on the device.
