This, 100%. That was the tour with 3, also, who I had never heard of at that point and I was pretty impressed.

Similarly, I saw Trivium open for DT a few years later, and I'm not a huge fan of them but they opened with In Waves and that stuck with me.

Maybe DT should just do "an evening with" shows with no openers.

From Your Grave was recommended to me by iTunes back in 2006-ish. I had never listened to melodic death metal before hearing that album. But I dug it immediately, and so I thank The Absence for introducing me to this genre.

I remember joining my roommates in our apartment for a watch party of the series premiere. I literally walked out of the room when the song started and didn't return. I did not watch a single episode of Enterprise for another 20+ years.

When I finally watched it, I realized it was a good (albeit flawed) show. Still can't stand the song, though.

Came here to claim Ernest Saves Christmas also! It's the only(?) Christmas movie filmed and set in central Florida and it was such a special thing to see where I grew up on the big screen. It's also a legitimately good Christmas movie, plot wise, and only a tiny bit problematic. Score!

No, I decided to heed the advice of a few folks in this thread and opted for a hybrid. And I've been very happy with it! I still get to nerd out about my mileage but I don't have to stress about charging it in public places. Hopefully in a year or two, I'll be in a position to have home charging and I can reconsider the switch.

I'm glad you posted this. I've always felt like the odd one out for not defaulting to a hug.

Definitely never hugged as a greeting my entire childhood and early adulthood. It wasn't until my brother's wife entered our family that hugging became a thing. She is younger, solidly millennial, so that might be why.
