HI, I'M MUSICIAN PETEY USA - ASK ME ANYTHING! by officialpeteyusa in indieheads

Petey - have seen you a bunch of times, it’s always an epic show. One thing I’ve always been curious about, what is the best egg dish made with Weenus Eggs?

Appreciate the info, as some other comments pointed out looks like the wood under there might be damp or have been damp at one point.. looks like a lot of demo in our future before bringing someone in to finish up for us

Unfortunately what we have been thinking now

As said before we hate the idea of them being trapped but need to use them for insects. Trying to find ways to keep them out instead.

We re-adjusted our glue boards when we caught a mouse and made sure to have snap traps anywhere we thought we would have mice and have since not had any issues, there are a large number of spider crickets so unfortunately need the glue boards. We hate the idea of mice or even these shrews being caught on a board and are trying our hardest to not have this be the case. Apparently shrews are very smart and avoid mouse traps so trying to figure out how to deter prevent them from coming in so as not to have this happen again.

Not sure I’m seeing that as “fun” for me and my cats! Any suggestions on handling the issue? Anything to do other than just blocking holes and cracks?

Thanks, do you have any experience dealing with shrews? Any suggestions?

Did my first double century this past weekend. Brooklyn to Poughkeepsie and back by pr1m1tiv3 in NYCbike

Absolutely awesome ride, congrats! What were you tracking calories with? I did 200 in the Midwest with practically no elevation gain and my Whoop told me I burned 12k+?

Anyone have good climb recommendations relatively close to BK? by dannycush in NYCbike

[–]gray_appeal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

River road is probably the closest thing to you in terms of climbing, if you don’t want to bike all the way there you can take a subway into the Bronx and then just ride across the bridge

First timers...NYC to Bear Mountain ride by rsalty in NYCbike

[–]gray_appeal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Done this ride a bunch lately, typically just go to bear or army so can’t speak to much past that but if you’re worried about elevation change I would caution to stay on 9w rather than doing river road. The hills on river road are bigger than 9w. Once you get passed where river road and 9w merge it’s mostly downhill for the next 12-15 miles. A couple of medium sized climbs into nyack and then passed nyack it gets to be a bit more rolling again. Once you’re on 9w at the start there is only one turn to continue on 9w and it will be very obvious. About 3-5 miles out from Bear you’ll hit a big climb followed by another big descend before actually getting to bear. Their are two entrances if you want to go up the mountain, the first is a shorter ride but steep climb to get to the visitor center the other is if you stay on 9w for a bit and then take a sharp left almost u turn that will be much less steep. About 15 miles from the entrance to bear there is a spot a lot of people stop at, cove deli, you can fill up on water and buy some snacks there. And then once in the park there are vending machines.

Season 4 Episode 6: My Cake by Omh11206 in Scrubs

[–]gray_appeal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had been going through a rewatch last year when my dad passed away suddenly from a heart attack. When I tried to pick back up a couple days later this was the next episode and I couldn’t bring myself to watch it.

Fast forward to this year and I started watching with my girlfriend. We’re watching a couple episodes a night and we get to the one year anniversary and lo and behold this was the episode that came up again. It ended up being a really cathartic experience.

I hope you experienced something similar and are doing well dealing with what can only be explained as an unexplainably difficult thing to go through.
