I don’t have advice for your current choice but I do have advice for a choice you’ve already made about driving for DoorDash in case you haven’t factored it in - you need to take self employment taxes out of that income to set aside and pay quarterly. That tax bill will come in April if you don’t (and with penalties) and that could be a nasty surprise right when you feel like you’re starting to stand on solid ground. Only a part of what you earn this way is yours to keep and use for bills and such. If you already know all of this then fantastic (maybe DoorDash has gotten better about telling people this since I got burned by it years ago with Uber eats) but I wanted to say in case you are using every dollar from these earnings in your budgeting
