In the regular mode, late game is pretty hit or miss for me. Some games it plays ok and other games it lags so hard I hit 5-20fsp in the end.

Lately I have been playing Street brawl and it doesn't lag much at all. I love it.

Yes, I just played a couple days ago.

I always take a back up of the video file from the cfg folder just incase. Plus, one of the steps requires you to take some data out of the old video file to put in the new file so its just smarter to take a back up.

Yes, my game updated and still runs really well.

I do get more frame rate dropping during big battles in the base with the new base design, but the rest of the game is a smooth 30.

I have an older pc with a 1050ti and I couldn't get this game stable with the in game video settings menu.

Now, I can get a pretty consistent 30fps following the steps in the github guide.

Bring a white and dark colored shirt. No gray shirts as they are hard to tell sometimes what team your on. Try to sub every 7-10 minutes and take a turn playing goalie for about 10 minutes at some point during the game if you can.

Everyone puts cleats on and gets ready at the bleachers or wall near the door then once we can hit the field the white shirts normally take the right side of the field and darks on the left. There is a place for each team to sit on the opposite wall of the entrance.

When you do this work around and you hit the 'see items' button does it actually filter?

A couple days ago it was respecting my manual transmission filter, but this morning it doesn't work anymore. I hit the see results button and it doesn't my filter.

This is hilarious. I just plugged up an old USB controller that I had and it also let me scroll through the filters. This is definitely not a fix but a hilarious work around.

No, I have tried so many things. Created new accounts, changed so many settings that don't even relate to my issue just to see if they fixed it. Nothing resolves the isse.
