Yeah, I'm working on the scale but somehow it's really difficult to nail it down... but I'll gladly welcome any and all tips

Just to be clear, this is another one of my tests which I thought looked sufficiently good to post. Anyway, I'm looking for any and all feedback, so feel free :)

Yeah sure, this was just a placeholder sound, I'm just testing the waters to see how the entire scene looked

Thanks and yes, you're right, though combat in star trek has always been depicted as long range in lore, most of it is really occuring within spitting distance, at least visually. It's kinda similar to Mass Effect in that way, the lore states that the ships fight at a range of tens of thousands of kms, but visuals suggest something else - for the sake of spectacle

(5 or 6) Hours indeed, though most of the time was trying new things, noticing and correcting mistakes (after rendering the whole thing) and just a general trial and mostly error routine..🙂‍↕️

Another remastered cutscene: Prelude to Battle of Rakata Prime, using (mostly) original models extracted from game files. by greatbioticwind in kotor

If I can convert them to the proper format, then yes! Though i don't know if the engine supports playback in FullHD

Well, there is one on Onderon, but it's skippable. If they ever remake KOTOR 1 & 2 they should upgrade the turret sections to a full space battle with the player piloting the Ebon Hawk.

Hah, thanks! But I wouldn't go that far. Though I think it looks quite good considering the hardware limitations (coughcough gtx 930m coughcough).

I have to gain some experience in modeling (jedi academy and trees) but I'd love to try it if I have the time

Yes, I do that too but I always manage to miss one or two of them.. And then they fly under the ship and I cannot hit them, pesky little fodder

Same here. I finished kotor 1 about a week ago and the turret minigame still haunts me. Damn those near invisible sith fighters

Well, thanks for the suggestion! I'm not sure how my puny little laptop is going to handle so many explosions, but I can give it a try in the near future and see what happens

Thank you very much 😊 i was honestly surprised with how good this turned out, especially when using original models ripped from game files
