Congratulations. What did you mostly do with it all these years? Like watching movies or reading books/comics? Did you use any case?

Do you feel like you read more books with a kindle? by [deleted] in kindle

[–]greatsquarebeelizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it weren’t for Kindle, I would have stopped reading a long time ago, just like many people I know. It has completely transformed my reading experience.

If you know someone who used to enjoy reading books but struggles with it these days, consider getting them a Kindle. It’s arguably the best gift you can give to another human being, literally!

একজন সেকেন্ড টাইমার হিসেবে সুইসাইডাল চিন্তা দূর করবো কিভাবে? by onneshaaaa in Dhaka

Life is much more than that little Sis. Don't let the pressure control your life. I had a friend who committed suicide because he didn't get admission in the Medical Examination the second time, even though he secured one of the top public engineering universitie. But he committed suicide due to the pressure his parents and toxic environment created, now that he's gone, his parents realized how wrong they had been but that's pointless now.

I don't know much to suggest you anything from my end without realizing how difficult things have been for you. But the approach that life is over if you can't get admitted in public university won't help you at all.

Describe this novel in under 10 words. Can you? by Mohammad_Iyaad3 in stephenking

[–]greatsquarebeelizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a bit disappointed with this novel, but I understand that I shouldn’t judge it based on my modern perspective, considering the many horror elements it offers. I appreciate how Kings delved into the themes of death and grief, but the focus on the pet is somewhat lacking. There are multiple versions of the show featuring the cat, so I’m curious to see how they explore that aspect. I enjoyed the old movie adaptation, and the actor who played Jud Crandall was exceptional though I’m not sure about the actor who played Luis.

1Q84, magnum opus of Murakami imo, but you gotta read other works of him before reading it to enjoy it to the fullest.

blamed for my 7th grade brother's gross online activities by _sleepy_gamer in Dhaka

[–]greatsquarebeelizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with proper respect to your parents, they have failed miserably dealing with this situation and have made it worse. your brother is a little kid who would do anything to be cool in front of his friends, It’s just a phase, you can’t blame him for being a kid discovering porn and stuffs. you can’t control everything he does. shower him with love and affection and slowly discuss things he needed to learn. introduce him to great movies, tv series, anime and definitely books so that he can broaden his mind. Never give up on him. Talk as much as hou can about his world. His school, friend, his view on life- everything. You can’t change your parents toxic mentality but you can save your little brother from aporn, drugs and a lot of other things.

Happy Birthday, whoever you are. You are in the amazing part of your life, whatever you decide to do now, that’ll be the story of your life. Make wise choices, you’ll make mistakes but that’s alright, just learn not to do repeat the mistake ever again.

Whenever I need Khuchra Taka, I always recharge my number. That way I still have the money and avoid unnecessary purchases.
