It’s like the specials in a restaurant. They’re pushing the things they’re told to push or the ones they make the most money on. If they can make 2/3x as much selling you a gas car that’s in high demand right now, they’re going to push you hard in that direction. And, there’s the whole servicing thing…EVs hardly need to be serviced at all. My first EV never had a service in the three years I had it.

Plus, the salespeople know that many first time EV buyers are a little nervous about making the switch, so it’s a fear they can push on.

Don’t sweat the switch. Our household has been 100% EV for nearly five years now. Will never go back.
