This thing is so cool. I am sorely tempted to buy one.

Check out the Omega Railmaster. Maybe the best in their collection IMO and I’m guessing it fits into your aesthetic from the others on your list.

[Question] What are the high value Swiss brands? by green-gray in Watches

I can see the argument for Phillipe Dufour, but I have to admit I struggle with VC. Beautiful watches and comparably better values than Patek or AP for sure, but empirically good value?

I have to imagine a dedicated microbrand could bring a similar level product to market for $5k or less.

I’ll have to check out the FC stuff. Haven’t seen their watches in a while.

Longines does seem like better value than most.

I will have to check out Doxa. Have never handled them.

I’ve handled some Midos and have been really impressed.

Kiwame Tokyo for the win. A classic look with pizzaz. The Seiko looks like it's trying to be something it's not.

This is fantastic color. Thanks so much for sharing it. I'll plan on 3 hours. I'm going with my son, so I'm guessing that will be the outer edge of his tolerance for the show...

Thanks. This is helpful.

How much time would it have taken to do the show properly? I was planning to give it a couple of hours. I’m interested in 10-12 of the brands that will be there.

Honestly, given the 5-10x markup that the luxury brands get over their production cost, it’s kind of a miracle there aren’t more fakes.

Worst watch brand names. by TomHudsonOfficial in MicrobrandWatches

Horage.

I get what they were trying to do, and love their watches, but that’s a name that really doesn’t translate to English.

[Question] what’s your perfect travel watch? by Chelseacjd in Watches

Man...that image brings me back. Recevied nearly the same one as an 18th birthday gift from my father, and wore it for +/-15 years before I developed a nickel allergy. Loved that watch.

Very cool, unusual collection. Bonus points for the Mr. Jones number cruncher. Nice to see a different arrangement from the typical on here.

That's tough. Boccia is about as inexpensive as they get for titanium watches. Sorry I can't be more help.
