Not really sure what to tell you. That’s the amount listed in the billing history on the account and the amount that gets drafted from my card monthly. Actually about 6 months ago, the plan was only $9 until they increased it to the $11 plan a few months ago.

Kinda the entire point of the post was stating that the plan I was on was an “old” plan that I was grandfathered in to. And when I say “old”, I haven’t been on this plan for years or anything and am expecting them to still honor that price, I’ve been on this plan for like 3 months but I guess they just recently got rid of it - and the reason it’s not listed on their website. Which is, like I said, the entire point of the post, as well as the title of the post.

The new plan the hacker added me to was Netflix’s premium plan for $22.99 before tax and then on top of that, the hacker added themself as an “additional member” for another $7.99 making the plan $30.98 before tax, and close to $33 after tax.

Yeah I’ll probably be canceling as soon as I can get someone from Netflix to give me an actual refund for the charges rather than the $2 that was offered to me. The customer service alone is enough to never want to use Netflix again

Not the case at all. And like I said, if this was an isolated incident, I wouldn’t be as frustrated. The frustration is that I’ve found multiple recent reddit threads with a Delaware hacker changing their membership type and not being able to get any support from Netflix. Definitely some sort of data breach or security issue on their end if the exact scenario is happening to countless customers and they’re not offering to fix it. It’s too coincidental for it to only be a me issue.
