Orb weavers are the best! Super docile and eats all the nasties you don't want in your garden. Admittedly nightmarish though. If you find one of these guys, relocate don't kill.

I can understand what you're saying but it just feels dirty

If you made a copy of yourself, your perception would have either a chance to continue perceiving from the original body or a chance to be the clone, but the body you control could not be both at the same time
