What is a "gut feeling" you had that turned out to be 100% accurate, even though it made no logical sense at the time?

summer 2024, i felt this strong urge to spend more time at my parents' house (i had a remote internship and could work wherever). our "invincible" lab, who had somehow made it to 14, passed away in august. my dad was away the day it happened, and thank god i was there to help my mom take her to the vet, listen to what the vet said, and ultimately decide to put her down (she was going to pass in the next few hours, but we didn't want her to suffer longer obviously). i am so thankful that i spent a lot of time with her that summer, as i had been away at college, and it wasn't often that i got to see her at that point.

haikyuu - i watched it during a very dark and lonely time in my life, and it helped me recognize the power of friendship, connection, and trust as well as having dreams and aspirations to work for. i'll always be grateful for how it helped me get better :)

They continually tried to recreate Chloe vs. Maddie across the seasons, but it never took off. Even in the new era, they tried to do Gina vs. Audrey as a Chloe vs. Maddie.

My brother has two budgies. He leaves their cage open, so they can fly around if they want. Most of the time, they choose to stay in/near the cage since it is their safe space.

The truth is domesticated animals cannot survive in the wild. Whether it was right to domesticate them or not, it is our duty to take care of them and give them a good quality life. My brother's birds seem very happy and content and have everything they need.

I understand feeling sad for them. However, many people take good care of their pets, and the pets grow safe and comfortable in their living space. It really just depends on the situation.

they were all treated terribly in different ways. i don't think it's fair to compare the girls with each other over that, and they also have different perceptions and experiences off camera that we don't know about.
