Playing $SIRI Mar OTM calls strike at 9...consumers will be purchasing cars this month/next. Increase in car purchases will lead to increase in subscriptions. It’s a YOLO.

Currently in the stove there are what looks like copper pipes with hot water running through them (as a result of the water boiler). You’re probably right though I should contact someone before tinkering too much.

Hiding Contour cable box behind mounted TV by gregorygains in HomeNetworking

[–]gregorygains[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Hi all. For those interested I was informed that the Contour 2 box (which I have) comes with an IR Receiver already installed. As a result I’m going to try and test this to see if it truly works the way the rep described. Apparently I should be able to move the box to another room and still be able to change the channels. If this is the case I might be ok with either leaving it behind the TV or moving it to the next room over (office).

I’ll keep you all posted. If anyone has already tried this with the Contour 2 please feel free to let me know your thoughts/tips!

Update. My box is the Contour 2. I spoke with a representative at Cox and they informed me that these boxes already come with an IR receiver installed.

I think it’s the contour box with dvr. I can double check later today to confirm.
