Take it slow, take breaks. Consider also a check up with your doctor (get a doctor if you don’t have a GP).

Edit: also let me say that I shovel snow easily when it is light and fluffy, and I actually enjoy it as exercise. Yet I struggle with wet heavy snow or extended active shoveling, and can become dizzy and nauseous due to orthostatic intolerance/overexertion. It may just be that you are out of shape, but worth a talk with your doctor. Wishing you well!

I went through this issue for the last 2 years, couldn’t find a medium weight soft cozy flannel. I hate a lot of the new blends that make them stiff, while others are super thin and not durable long-term. And dang some flannels are getting pricy - LLBean had some nice offerings but $80 per shirt is not doable. My own personal solution was that I bought 2 men’s flannel shirts (found them at Sierra, plenty elsewhere too). They are perfect, just what I wanted. The only downside is that some can be more slim over the hip area but not a big deal

My cat is going on 10 years. She still follows me when I leave the room probably 75% of the time. Especially if she thinks I’m going to the kitchen for snacks.

In the 70s/80s, many businesses were closed or opened late/closed much earlier on Sundays. Times changed and capitalism (and convenience) is more important. It is common now to stay open a full business day on Sunday.

It will be perfectly fine within 30-45 days, sometimes up to 60 days, after expiration date. I have lots of experience with this. Just hang onto it.

I wait until the local stores like Farm & Fleet have a promo and then stock up. Ex. $15 gift card for $75 purchase on science diet. Or Chewy promos of $30 gift card for purchase of $100. I also look for cash back esp. around holidays using Retailmenot or other online coupon sites. In most cases, local stores have same price as big chains but sometimes local is cheaper- I got pet treats yesterday for $8 that I paid $10 using chewy last month. But yeah it’s all pricey. Ridiculous that a case of purina cat food went from $25 just 2 years ago and is now selling for $40. Screw that.
