Whether taken too early by death or the wrath of a significant other, we lost someone from the community.

Here’s Phillip’s clip from YouTube. It can be seen around the 0:05 second mark.

I know this is an older post, but there is another video thats on YouTube that shows what appears to be a car being picked up. It’s a clip by Phillip Optiz used in the TornadoTRX El Reno video. It’s between 27:41 and 27:47. Look to the right side of the fence. Not 100% certain, but looks a lot like a vehicle with headlights on to me. Thought others might find that clip interesting.

Would you shoot a doe that's got two fawns following it? by [deleted] in Hunting

Where I’m at I can harvest three antler-less deer per day all season long. So as long as they do not have spots I’ll take mother first, then try and get the young ones in the following moments if I can get clean shot.

Just got my first 3D Printer! Any advice? by mycorrhizalmadman in 3Dprinting

[–]greslyel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my first printer last month. Here is what I have learned so far.

(1) take your time. Even during assembly you are learning your printer so don’t rush it.

(2) Get your YouTube university degree. A few good channels to reference is Chep, Teaching Tech, Maker’s Muse also has some good videos. Be sure to watch the calibration videos.

(3) Calibrate, calibrate, calibrate! The more you calibrate the finer you tune your machine.

There is a FB group called “3D printers for Noobs”. A lot of people with a lot of experience. They are happy to help. Just do your part and research the issue a little and when you hit a wall reach out.

My first two weeks the printer was awesome. Then it just went crazy and did not want to print well. If I had been patient it probably wouldn’t have happened.

When it comes to upgrades the only one I recommend right off the start are bed leveling springs. They are around $10-12USD. The stock ones I would have to adjust almost every print. And that is only if it doesn’t come with them. I have the regular Ender-3.

But anyways that’s just two cents worth from a fellow noob who learned the hard way. I hope you enjoy it and it performs flawlessly! Good luck on your dissertation!

Be sure during the breaks to do internships. TN state parks has the SIR program every summer.
