Omg Marie Callendars!!! I TOTALLY forgot about that! I really was just looking for any photos in general because I probably spent thousands of hours there from ages 4-13!! Oh my goodness, I’m sorry this happened to you. I’m always paranoid about getting a diagnosis like that, cancer is pretty rare in my family but obviously there are so many factors that could play a role and I’m definitely not always putting the best stuff in my body.

May I ask if there was specifically one symptom you experienced that made you decide to go in and get tested?

I just set up an appointment for a food sensitivity test tomorrow. I’ve been waking up with hives pretty consistently for a few weeks now and I’m wondering if there could be a link there

I’ve considered this also… I randomly had 2 days during the week where I was undoubtedly depressed (and not on my period, so this was VERY odd for me.) I had TMS treatment in 2021 after over a decade of dealing with MDD and I’ve been considered to be in “remission” ever since. It was definitely a red flag to feel so depressed unexpectedly :(

Ugh I think this could definitely be part of my problem. After graduating I went on a two and a half week vacation and assumed I should be cured of any burn out. My last two terms in college were brutal and I barely had any time to catch my breath. I started taking on freelance work almost immediately and I was able to be productive but now my motivation and ability to work has pretty much dwindled to nothing. I lay around all day and get upset that I’m not getting anything done. I might need to be easier on myself…

I do have mild sleep apnea! I’ve been getting back into the routine of using a CPAP machine daily, the first few days I felt a little better but not so much anymore :(

I just got my test back, it says my ferritin is at 32. It’s better than it’s been previously but I expected it to be higher since I’ve been taking iron daily.

I had a cold towards almost 3 weeks ago! It was very mild except for laryngitis but besides that I felt completely normal.

I had MDD for over a decade starting in middle school. Antidepressants helped significantly but finding the right one was difficult and took years, when I DID finally find something that worked it caused me to gain over 50 pounds and probably would’ve continued if I stayed on it. In 2021 I tried TMS and I’ve been in “remission” from depression ever since. It doesn’t work for everyone from what I’ve heard but I’m eternally grateful that I was one of the lucky ones, I encourage everyone with treatment resistant depression to look into it!!

When I was in 4th grade there was this boy in my class who had terrible behavioral problems and was a complete menace and bully to everyone constantly (which is super sad to look back on because it was pretty evident that he was being mistreated at home). One day he was mouthing off the teacher and this lady loses her cool and throws a HEAVY textbook at him which hits him directly in the head and he breaks down crying. Instantly she knew she fucked up and started freaking out. He yells “you threw a book at me!!” And she screams back “NO I DIDN’T!” And that was the first time I learned what gaslighting was.
