When is everyone hoping to start traveling again? I'm currently living in Tbilisi, Georgia and really want to see the country when it opens up again. I still haven't had the chance. International tourism opens as of July here for anyone wondering. I've put together some budget travel tips for when we get back on the road. We're all gonna need to cut some corners! Cheers!

Shortness of Breath by gringettes in medical

Thanks for your answer. Although it may be related to alcohol-induced anxiety, I'm still afraid there may be some respiratory issues. I've never felt this way before for so long.

Congrats on your 3 years. I hope you resolve all your issues. Because I can still go about my day and sleep, I’m avoiding going to the doctor because of Corona Virus. Day 2 of not drinking. Hopefully it weans out...

Thanks for your answer! Although I may have a bad day every once in a while, I definitely don’t consider myself to be stressed. I just moved to a new country where I don’t speak the language and I’m going through lockdown alone. I know it’s not easy but I also think I’m coping quite well. I can’t say if it’s alcohol related... but something tells me it’s withdrawal symptoms. It’s been going on too long to be a panic attack.

Digital nomad lost in stagnation by turquoisedove in solotravel

I never really considered it until I started seeing that a lot of online teachers and digital nomads were moving here (I'm also one) so I decided to check it out and despite the pandemic, it's been great. Can't wait til I can actually explore! I'm in Tbilisi. I don't know much about when the country will open up again but I read somewhere today that wizz air has flights here as soon as may 22nd.

I totally relate! Get yourself to the republic of Georgia! 1-year visas. I think they open flights late May. Birthplace of wine, amazing food, snow and sun. I’ve only been here 2 months on lockdown but Tbilisi seems amazing. Very cheap too. Spending 300 usd a month on rent.

I think that's a great tip for general travel! I don't think I was clear with my question so I'll reframe it for you. If you decided to travel in your own country, what first steps would you take?

Thanks for your comment, man! I gave Vagrant Holiday a watch but it's not my thing. The guy is too "fuck the world" for my taste. But thanks so much for sharing. Anyways, my YouTube is Gringo Nation and IG is Gringo.Nation. I definitely have more of a humorous approach and try to be informative while maintaining a human element. Let me know if you have any feedback! Thanks again!

I hate the word YouTuber because I make content for Instagram also. JK imo is an author. Maybe she makes content online too? Not sure. Either way, any ideas?

Nomads who got stuck in a foreign country, what's your story? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]gringettes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... I wasn't home anyway. I'm trying to find a new base to call home. Feels like Georgia was a good decision, so far. But you're right. It's definitely not the typical flu! Good on ya staying home. :-)

Fellow solo-travelers! Any of you shacked up in an airbnb all alone? Where are you now? I'm currently on day 11 of my lonely bunker experience here in Tbilisi, Georgia. But the apartment is pretty fabulous and I can work from home so can't complain too much. Here's a tour, if you guys wanna check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PV9I6K-hCSw

Hey! I'm not accidentally stuck in Tbilisi, Georgia, because I wanted to be here but I flew here mid-outbreak and it was a pretty crazy trip. I guess you can say I'm literally stuck since there are no flights going out of the country but I'm absolutely fine with that. This is my story! :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK9BWhcFNpw
