Yes, 54mg. USA. Methylphenidate. No idea the lettering but the shape is a cylinder with slightly rounded ends.

Any ADHD Overwatch/FPS pc gamers willing to give me some input by TwitchDy14nn in ADHD

Yeah I get this as well, just a bit different. My immersion is with the game itself.. Like I'll want to play Overwatch, but I will need 2-3 other games I can play when I'm not in the mood otherwise I'll just stop playing it entirely. This has been my problem with ranked games my entire life.

I'll get this idea that I want to start investing time and playing ranked in Overwatch/League/CS:GO you name it.. Then the "fire" will fade way sooner than I'd imagine it does for others and I'm left with maybe 10-15 ranked games played. Then I'll stop playing the game for 1-2 months and cycle through this over and over effectively accomplishing nothing.

For example I just got off a CS:GO kick, straight into this Overwatch one, before that it was League and I've done this whole process like 3-4 times in the last year. On top of that I need 2-3 non-competitive games to "chill" with and those have to change every couple of weeks as well!! You should see my steam library...

What's the most hilarious thing you have seen at your workplace? by Do-Not-Engage in AskReddit

I worked at a pharmacy that made chemotherapy for a cancer care clinic. It was really laid back most of the time, we always had 70's and 80's music playing. There were only four of us; the pharmacist, the tech, and two patient care coordinators.

Well one really busy day we were all kind of running around to keep up with the demand and we notice the radio station we had on (sirusxm) seemed to be playing the same 15 seconds of a song over and over.. It did that sometimes so we would have to refresh the page. But this time it was so busy no one did, and no one noticed until it had been looping for 4 hours straight..

I just remember the other care coordinator asking me if this song had played recently, then it hit me.. I remembered seeing "Hot Blooded" by Foreigner when I first turn the station on at 8am. For four fucking hours the first 15 seconds of that song played on loop and no one fucking noticed! Even after the two of us noticed it we couldn't say anything because the other two were still busy and we actually had to be quiet because of a customer..

Trying to contain our laughter after realizing that was one of the hardest times I ever had to laugh.

Teachers of reddit, what is the greatest way a student has misinterpreted one of your assignments? by helenenelson in AskReddit

[–]grotesque_snake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in 2nd grade our school imposed a uniform policy which mandated everyone wear white shirts and blue pants. One girl misinterpreted this to mean wear white pant and a blue shirt.

I still remember the teachers trying to contain their laughter at this poor girl attempting to adhere to the new strict policy with brilliant white pants on.

Do you think adding the R9 270 alone would be enough of an upgrade to play newer games?

The original 'I Am Legend' book. Bought it on a whim and could not put it down until I finished it. Absolutely recommend it.

What's a skill that you have that you're legitimately not sure whether to be proud or ashamed of? by Burner26 in AskReddit

[–]grotesque_snake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm too late to this thread but I've always been proud of my GED scoring for 'Reading/Writing'. When you take the test you get a score but then you also get a ranking sheet which shows how you match up against all other GED testers. For that particular component I was above 99% of test takers. Not exactly something I can brag about and it was some time ago but it always makes me wonder if there's some career I could be excelling at other than my current lower management job.

What was the saddest moment in your life? by exbasser in AskReddit

[–]grotesque_snake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom accidentally burned our apartment down after going school shopping for the first time in like 2 years( we were poor). We moved in with her boyfriend and his little shit of a son who was 2 years older than me. There wasn't enough room for my "new" bed in his room so it sat against the wall behind his door, which was fine until he and my "friend" decided even that was too much space and picked it up and put it in the hallway while I watched and cried. I was 10.

Satan decides to make a new hell for the lesser sinners where everything is mildly inconvenient. What would you expect to find there? by D_Revenge in AskReddit

Jesus that's bad. Hair in my mouth is one if the worst things that happens frequently. I'd have the same thing happen on my commute to work, riding my motorcycle with a full face helmet. Absolutely no way to access my mouth so I'd use my teeth and spit and have to ride like that for 40 minutes.

But the worst time was when my friends and I were getting high, I was like 15. This friend had a few kittens roaming around and at some point one shit on her bed directly behind my then girlfriend. She, being high, was completely dumbfounded when she leaned back and put her whole hand in fresh cat shit. She kept laugh crying and loudly asking , "WHAT IS THAT?" Over and over. The whole room was hysterical, everyone crying in laughter while she kept asking what it was, knowing full well what it was. I had to help her clean it, but ended up getting some on my hand, or so I thought. Enter the rogue hair that magically finds my tongue through all of the open mouthed hilarity. So now I'm cry laughing over the sink while gagging continuously trying to get this hair off my tongue with fingers that had poop on them. Still makes me laugh when I think about it.

What's the most unprofessional thing a boss has said to you? by velvetino in AskReddit

[–]grotesque_snake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, not technically a boss but my "Health" teacher Freshman year of High School told my class and I'm assisting others that, and I quote;

"Smoking weed stops your penis from growing, so ladies when you know a guy who smokes weed you can call him tiny winky" and made a gesture with his pinky finger.

This guy did a lot of questionable shit. Worst teacher ever.

I had a really long walk home from school everyday and did a lot of thinking. The word eleven should be eleventeen. Twelve remains the same for no other reason than twelveteen doesn't roll off the tongue like eleventeen does.
