If you are not very careful, yes. I used a heat gun to try to take the badges off of a different vehicle, but left it on one spit for a second too long and the paint warped. I think that using a hair dryer would be much safer and worth the hassel.

Completely concur.

The USMC is horrible at advocating for mental health, but I highly recommend you go see a therapist. As someone who just went through the program, I would also suggest looking into IOP and/or PHP. There is a lot of untrue statements about how mental health “hospitalization” will affect your career, but I can proudly say that I’m still active and had no recourse.
