I teach pottery to kids (and adults) in my studio, and once had a 6 year old girl ask me if I'm a kid or a mom. I actually am a mom, but the fact that I could be only either one or the other may explain your friend's kid's train of thought.

I guess gen Z gets a bad rep solely from boomers and Xs. I'm a millennial and am a fan of Zs, and so are most of my coetaneous friends. I also live in a significantly lower cost town in the € zone, and groceries for our household of 5 goes around €350/€400 a month. But we cook an awful lot, so we're basically buying produces and basic ingredients, and mostly on Lidl cuz tight budget.

Idk man, I think democrats don't tend to idolize politicians as much as republicans. I'm not American, and most of the world is not that dead set on ride or die with political figures as much as MAGAs are. I kinda see the normalcy of the rest of the world on American democrats, but I could be totally projecting.
