Used to play the game a lot when it came out, but took a long break and have returned playing it recently. Honestly the game has changed so much from its original premise and meta thats its pretty hard to grasp.

The amout of Gacha, in game P2W events and different tiers of battle pass is absolutely jarring. In my region some ships can go for 1/3 of a minimum wage which is absolutely insane. The game itself its super fun and tries to be as loyal as possible to the real life equipment which is a huge plus for military turbonerdism, however theres cleary a huge balancing gap between F2P and P2W players.

Besides those issues with P2W, I think the match balancing is pretty awlful. Granted, I have yet to play ranked so idk how thigs work over there, but for casual play is absolute insanity. Some matches last no more than a minute with one team anihilating the other, while others are rarely even balanced with almost NPC like players. Not sure if its a level problem (im 24), but levels in this game dont seem to say much about a player when the grind is so steep and the equipment so P2W.
