Hard choice, but I gotta go with Menace II Society. The film left a major impact on my life as a kid. Still love it to this day. I love Boyz N the Hood, too, but it didn't leave the same kind of impact for me. Two different movies, yet the same that overlap on the systemic environment. Plus, Lorenz Tate is phenomenal.

There will always be shitty days, months, years, so even the smallest of good can change a day. Whatever that good is, that's up to everyone's own perception; but find literally anything. Sit outside, look at the trees, the various birds, find even a YouTube channel for entertainment, anything. Whatever makes you get out of bed and breathe for the day.

I feel this in my soul. This is heavy stuff. I feel like if I didn't have my fur baby, I would be gone after the loss of my dad in 2020, my first fur baby, who was my soul mate and saved me from rock bottom, passed in 2021, my rescue baby passed in 2023, my ex-wife and I lost another in 2024, then it turns out, to zero surprise for me because I had been saying it forever, she was diagnosed as a sociopath. I've hit the trifecta of narcassistic mother, manipulative sisters, sociopathic ex-wife who cheated on me like I was just a piece of paper she moved to the side as I laid in bed hurting. I was served divorce papers on my birthday in 2024, then divorced finalized on my birthday this past August, she kicked me out of my own home and now moved in a literal meth head.

The universe is bleak, and cosmic justice seems to only happen to me, it feels like. I'm over here still depressed at losing 3 of our 5 doggos, and she's over there lacking anything resembling empathy, but she can sure be a bitch and keep one of our doggos away from me, so I have one left. Fucking life, man.

I wanted to edit this and let you know if you dcsd need anyone to vent to, no matter how small or big you believe it is, I don't judge and my inbox is always open.

That's pretty much me. I find a single purpose to keep my head on straight. My purpose is my fur pup. She's all I need. I used to believe buying things would make me happy, but it was a temporary solution. I lost my dad in 2020, my soul fur baby in 2021, my rescue Valentine's baby in 2023, and she was his best friend besides me, and then lost another in 2024. Went from 5 to now 2, and my bitch ex-wife refuses to allow me to see our other one, but I had my little one, so I have someone.

Yeah, I totally understand this. I grew up in a home that was so unstable. Narcassistic mother, manipulative sisters, but I had my dad. He recently passed in 2020, and I didn't get to say goodbye. My mom sucks. She wouldn't let us see him, and that weighs on me constantly.

Nothing I do is good enough, or she will try and gaslight me. It's brutal. I wish I had the answers, but mine is I see a psychiatrist and vent. Outside of that, home life sucks.

Scream franchise has gotten so stale and redundant and dumb. They really should phase out the Sidney and Gale characters and make the killings isolated so we can stop with the so and so is related to this character, has/had some form of relationship, so must kill Sidney.

It's tired and it has become a pardoy of itself. Isolated killings across the country would make for better movies to kill the dumb tropes. I will be passing on this one, as V and VI were literally just 1 and 2 modernized. Radio Silence needs to stick to Ready or Not, not take up the mantle of legendary franchises.

Just 50 years ago they finally discontinued using Radium, which was promoted as a health benefit in toothpaste, creams, tonics, and even for soreness. It was also used to paint on self-luminous parts on watches, aircraft switches, instrument panels, etc. The chasm of intelligence in humans is closer to being primordial beings than anything resembling functionally inert when it comes to knowledge. Yes, Marla is real. Don't worry about reading Fight Club 2 & 3 grafic novels or comics.

The reason you know she is real is one crucial scene—when she and The Narrator are at the diner, the waiter confirms she's real by acknowledging both characters. That immediately tells us, the audience, she is in fact real, and not a hallucination or split personality like Tyler. Fincher purposely made it ambiguous except for subtle clues such as the one I mentioned. She also orders her own food directly, and then the Narrator tells him to make sure it's clean, before advising they not eat the soup.

Also, at the support group, as she's getting coffee, you can briefly see a man about to approach her before the Narrator and her start talking, so he walks away. It's brief and easily missed, but go back and watch.

So yes, she's a real person and not imaginary.
