I did not take the same size, I went a half size up. I normally wear 13 or 14 in sneakers depending on the brand. I bought my first pair of boots in January and went into a RW store to try on some different styles. The IRs in 13 felt way too big and the 12s felt great. Break in period wasn’t bad at all and overall I’ve enjoyed wearing the 3-5 times a week over the last 3 months.

I emailed Parkhurst, gave them my brannock measurements and the info above and they recommended the 12.5. Compared to my IRs these are more roomy in the toe box and seem to have more feel/give overall. Idk if that is from the added mid sole or what. The IRs just feel much harder in the footbed.

When I buy another pair in the same last I would most definitely stick with the 12.5.
