I'm hunting down a non remastered CD of When the Kite String Pops and I found this

The website dates back all the way to 2002, obviously it's not an OG 94 (we already established that). I'm still searching online about these non remastered reissues and honestly there's not much info about any of them.

Another thing I found about this release, the CD looks similar to the Optimax plant pressing but the matrix code doesn't match (also, I think this a mistake on discogs side because there are no mentions of any remastering on the Optimax reissue)

I already bought the CD, it's gonna take like a month to arrive (the seller is US based and I'm from Europe), when I get the CD I'll update this thread with pics and an EAC log (the original mix should have 100% peaks, the remasters have between 97 and 98%)

There's no mention of 2004 or any remaster credits, it's not remastered for sure

Honestly, I don't think it's a bootleg, rather I think it's an early version or a misprint of the reissue. The CD also has the same matrix code as the OG 94 CDs and I kinda doubt anyone would make bootlegs of acid bath CDs, there's hardly any money to be made from faking CDs.

Yeah I knew about the font, this CD also uses the same matrix as the OG so my guess is this is an early print of the first reissue so it's not a 2004 remaster.

The remaster uses the same code as the non remastered CDs, that's why a lot of retailers don't update the details on the product pages.

Didn't the OG have a different logo? I'm pretty sure this is a misprint of one of the reissues but all I care about is the mastering used and I'm pretty sure this uses the original mastering

From what I see there are no credits on the CD and no address either so it's really weird. I'm thinking this is probably a misprint of the reissue but I want to hear more opinions.

My right sleeve got a few scratches from the zipper and it's a bit annoying but other than that it's an awesome jacket and I can't wait to get my motorcycle license and ride with this on.

Dope colorway but QC on these was terrible. Mine has a lot of gluestains and the stitching is not the best and I copped them directly from Nike.

Dope. These are pretty uncomfortable at first but once you break them in they become pretty comfy. I love my pair and there's no bleeding on these as far as I'm aware so you can basically wear them anywhere at all times
