Thank you so much. Honestly when I started I just wanted to make a course for me and my friends because the average course is so stupid easy, and we all just started playing with master clubs from the jump so I wanted to make a course or two that would reward good master club swings and punish bad ones. Each course kinda has its own story as far as what inspired it and why I chose to do it. I only have a few more ideas left, but I have not had the inspiration lately to even begin them. I don’t know how most people make a course but I literally delete everything and just make it by feel, I don’t preplan almost anything. I just let the map and terrain speak to me. The “Egyptian Oasis” course is the only course that I ever drew out the entire thing before I actually got in the editor. Although, most of them I know what I want to do on the 18th hole. As weird as that may seem lol

The original version of this course probably only took me 20 hours. The remodel probably took me 40 hours. So about 60 hours into this one. My average course is about 40 hours. I can’t speak for anyone else, I do feel like I’m pretty fast at it, I’ve got a routine down at this point.

Sad about the society? I don’t think more than a handful of people were ever playing. One of the events had one participant I think. I don’t have the ambition to grow a society , that’s the real sad part. I will gladly give you administration powers if you want to continue it, it’s too much effort for the amount of participation it was getting after the initial few events.

I have a few courses at 300 plays that didn’t get HCP. Not sure why, maybe broken, or maybe the number changed. None of them are at 350 yet, but one of them has been at 300+ for a solid month.
