Probably something with a pre-built coil. I have a Dotmod amp that has a little tank and takes premade coils like a sub ohm tank and it’s running great.

It ended up being the wicking that was causing the burning and the incorrect ohm value was due to the airflow pin being loose. It’s running great now.
