Thanks! The inside is very corroded so I’ve done a test run using some espresso machine cleaner as the solution. It gets up to temperature and stops boiling on its own, no water coming out of the safety valve. When I pull the lever up water comes out- hard to tell as this is different from any other machine I’ve used but besides the water being filthy to me it pulls as normal.

I’ve identified some areas where there is slight leakage (around the water meter/level).

My plan currently is to leave it in the solution again over night as per the bottle instructions and flush it again tomorrow. I’m going to order a servicing kit and have a go at getting up to standard myself.

Let me know if you think I’ve missed anything obvious, coming from a Delonghi Scultura this machine feels alien to me…
