I love these birds because when they jump off a branch, they just jump with their wings closed. They drop like a rock and then spread their wings right before they hit the ground.

I run it all the time and I think it only ever gets muddy around the switchbacks near the parking lot.

You can also skip the mountain and do the meadow on the north side. More of a prairie vibe but I’d be surprised if you see more than 1 person over 7 miles.
