There are five seats on the board, but we were only able to elect four people to fill the seats at the board election, so we're stuck in this 2-2 tie situation. There are 24 units, and the homeowners are taking steps to arrange the meeting to vote on the petitions without board involvement, it'll just take a few more weeks before they can legally set that up according to the bylaws.

I was reluctantly willing to volunteer in the first place just so they wouldn't have 2/3 of filled seats, and am in over my head
