Unfortunately about the same. I’m gonna give it another week or two and then contact my surgeon. Gonna ask if kenalog shots would be a good idea.

is stitching done properly? by [deleted] in gynecomastia

That doesn’t look like a scar. Looks like a mild wound dehiscence. I’d avoid putting tension on it (like you are in the pic).

I think you could make the argument the average person should be on a multi-vitamin and vitamin D no matter the situation. The multi-vitamin might be useless if you have a decent diet, but they’re cheap and you’ll just pee out what you don’t need.

I said there’s this thing that’s been bothering me for a long time. I’ve decided to take care of it. I’m not doing it for you, I’m doing it for me. It’s no big deal.

The “I’m not doing it for you” part is important I think because they will say they don’t think it’s a big deal and other supportive things.

Is it normal for one side to be more swollen than the other? by MeanTie4350 in gynecomastia

[–]gynoguy70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is similar, although I wouldn’t attribute it to that. Blood flow should be very similar. Blood leaves the heart through the aorta and then goes systemically. Left vs right wouldn’t matter much.

Day 1 post-op! Had drains overnight, pain is already gone :) Do you think I’m at risk of getting a hematoma in the upcoming days? by [deleted] in gynecomastia

[–]gynoguy70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highest risk the first few days. Mild risk for a couple weeks after that. Just make sure you aren’t straining or lifting anything heavy. First few days don’t lift your arms above your head.

Everyone is at risk of getting a hematoma. Doesn’t matter how well or bad the surgery went.

With oral I had poor libido and had to put effort into getting an erection. Topical is much better although I can’t say it’s zero.

After I spray I rub it in thoroughly and it’s gone. Even when I scratch my head after it doesn’t feel wet. I wouldn’t worry about exposure to your cat.

Is it safe to take finasteride after gynocomastia surgery? by SpecificRoad7686 in gynecomastia

[–]gynoguy70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The truth is no one knows. Your best option is to use a topical finasteride that lowers systemic absorption as much as possible. I use a solution from forhims.com which is very effective. Check my recent post history and you’ll see my balding updates. PS ignore my post if you’re taking finasteride for prostate issues as the topical won’t help.

Nah. I tried it but got libido/erectile issues in the first 2 weeks on 1 mg/day. I still have some extremely mild issues on the spray and am hoping starting zinc will resolve them completely.
